York | A few things we love to do

We're often asked what we like to do in York. Aside from hanging at Sunny Hill and going for walks along the Avon and up to Mount Brown, here are a few of our favourite things to do.

Take a browse in Barclay Books - For old and new books, this is a book lovers paradise. Contented sigh!

Visit The Good Life Store - Check out this organic and fresh produce store. Amazing fresh eggs, fresh veg and fresh warm bread on Friday and Saturday and an amazing assortment of chutneys and jams - what's not to love. Our favourite - the cauliflower pickle/chutney.

Check out The York Motor Museum - Old but still pretty cool - even if you just want to see the Valiant ute used in the movie "Crocodile Dundee" and signed by Paul Hogan. Started in 1979, this museum is now owned by a collective of car enthusiasts and is open every day.

Visit The Sock Factory - Beautiful socks made from the last sock manufacturer in Western Australia. We also love their beautiful knitwear - jumpers, scarves etc and of course ugg boots!

Antique Stores - You’ve probably gathered. We love old stuff and fossicking through the antiques in York is a lovely way to spend some time.

Just a little taste of what you can do!
