Good things to know about your stay

Sunny Hill is a heritage listed stone cottage sitting within half an acre of gardens for you to explore. Relaxing in the gardens, enjoying our outdoor baths or lazing around the cottage - it’s all yours to enjoy during your stay.

We are hands off hosts however our wish is for your stay to be a true pleasure, so you can slow down and connect with nature and the beautiful people in your life. We always have a member of our team close by, so if you need anything, please let us know.

  • Sunny Hill can welcome 6 guests.

    All our bedding is sublime and covered in luxury linens.

    • King Single twin bedroom

    Our back verandah bathroom is a traditional farmhouse bathroom which has a vintage bath, shower and separate toilet.

    We supply small torches for your nocturnal visits - don’t forget to take a look at the breathtaking stars o your way!

  • Our claw foot baths overlooking Mount Brown have become synonymous with our Sunny Hill experience.

    Relax while you look out over the valley to Mount Brown, watch a moon rise or luxuriate under the stars.

    Please kindly note, our gardens are not 100% private so we do ask that you are discreet when using our baths so that you, and our lovely neighbours, don’t get unnecessarily embarrassed!

    We provide beautiful bath salts to complete the experience.

    • Our country kitchen table is our dining table ands seats 6 people.

    • Fully stocked kitchen including stove, oven, fridge & freezer, toaster, kettle and cooking utensils

    • Coffee plunger & freshly ground beans, assortment of tea, hot chocolate and chai

    • Pantry essentials including olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt & pepper.

    • Please note we do not supply milk.

    • We have a Gas BBQ and outdoor setting to enjoy our beautiful evenings.

  • Sunny Hill has a lounge room where we our couch and pot belly reside.

    We also have a parlour which is perfect for cocktails, board games or reading and looks out over the garden.

  • Although we would love to welcome everyone of all abilities, Sunny Hill is not wheel chair or walker friendly. Access to our back verandah is. by stairs or a steep ramp. And our garden is covered in mulch which makes walkers difficult.

    However please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

  • Check In from 3pm.

    Check Out before 11am.

    • 50% of the total booking amount is due at the time of booking.

    • The remaining amount will be debited from your credit card 14 days before arrival.

    • 50% of deposit paid is refundable when cancelled 14 days before arrival.

    • 0% is refundable if cancelled less than 14 days before arrival.

  • A pre-authorisation of $250 is held one day before arrival, and released three days after your departure.
