York Wildflower Update - Oct 25
If there was a thing called a flowerologist, I’m it. I absolutely love the drive from Perth to York during spring as the wildflowers are out in full force - and at the moment the electric blue of the Lechenaultia is everywhere.
To appreciate our WA wildflowers, you have to stop and take a moment. They’re not bold and obvious like your garden flowers but they are truly a wonder. So take your time, go for a bush walk and you might just see some incredible beauties like the ones I spied below. Oh and please drive safely - there are lovely (and safe) parking areas in the parkland along the York Road.
And of course, our garden at Sunny Hill is just bursting into life too. Our York Rose is just about to burst into flower an our Sweet Seduction roses are about to go gang busters. My kind of joy!
